Arsenal is proud of what the Hale End boys are achieving

Saka leads the way, Nketiah follows and Rhys Nelson is also following in their footsteps. Arsenal prides itself on the achievements of footballers who know deeply the values that the club stands for and the Hale End boys did their best in the game against Eindhoven in Netherlands.

Arsenal is proud of what the Hale End boys are achieving

On Tuesday night and despite the many changes Mikel Arteta made to Arsenal's starting line-up, which naturally favored the occasion with the team already in the last 16 of the Champions League as group leaders, the club continued to be proud of its football players. And especially for those who have emerged from the infrastructure departments.

Eddie Nketiah managed to score in the Champions League for the first time in his career and he did it in his first starting XI in Europe's top club competition.

The goalscorer, who fed the Englishman to fire a low left-footed shot to make it 1-0 against the Dutch, was Rhys Nelson.

Also a product of the "gunners" academies. And in fact, this summer he was free for a while when his previous contract expired, before signing a new 5-year (4+1) contract.

Undoubtedly, it is a case that Arsenal is trying to support. The club expects a lot from the footballer, but the player also has a lot of internal and healthy competition.

On the bench was Emil Smith Rowe (entered in the 89th minute), who returned to the team's squad for the first time since last October, and Mikel Arteta said he was impressed by the work the young midfielder had done in terms of his recovery and reintegration.

As for Bukayo Saka, who did not participate against Eindhoven, he counted 4 assists and 3 goals in the Champions League group stage, right now remains at the top of the players with the most goals/assists for their team!
